My husband was doing business in tarpon one day and texted me that he had a "ginormous" sandwhich he couldn't finish. That evening, I tasted their pork tenderloin sandwhich in rasberry, or something sweet. The bread was fresh, the taste was unexpectedly pleasant and after hours of sitting in my husbands truck, it was quite tasty! A few months later, I went for myself. I ordered the same sandwich. My eyes rolled behind my head. It was a party in my mouth. The restaurant itself is a mom and pop joint and it's a hole in the wall. It's clean, casual, and the service is friendly. I would highly recommend this place if u are in tarpon. They do take a while to prep your meal, but its well worth the wait. I recommend just calling ahead and picking up since the restaurant is a small hole in the wall and feels a bit cramped when it comes to eating in privacy. other than that, YUM!

Muzzie's is selling themselves short by simply having the word "sandwiches" painted on their storefront. The impression is that it's a tiny ice cream shop, with a few sandwiches as an after thought. The truth is, the place has an amazing selection of fresh sandwiches which are all served on home baked bread. I had the Big Ben, which is roast beef served on really good garlic bread. The sandwiches are huge! Each half is a sandwich unto itself. The menu is way more extensive than the exterior of this place would ever let on. Everything is made in house, including the french fries and dipping sauce. There is a freezer with all kinds of yummy looking frozen confections (chocolate covered cheesecake and truffles on a stick, for example) and once again, it's all made in house. Of course they have ice cream, too. The strip mall is in which Muzzie's is located is a dated. And Muzzie's is a small space. Don't judge a book by its cover! Try Muzzie's and go hungry. You'll be surprised!

Muzzie's may be an ice cream shop but their sandwiches are really the best thing here. They're MASSIVE, made on fresh garlic bread, and are really creative and delicious. They offer a few vegetarian options, too, which are just as good as their non-veg sandwiches. I'm not really impressed by their ice cream selection but they make a mean chocolate malt and the sandwiches are totally worth it. Kid-friendly atmosphere and take home options like ice cream lollipops and Mile-High Apple Pie are also a good thing.

If you're deterred by the appearance of this small ice cream shop, don't be. I order the half sandwich (grilled cheese) with soup special every time I go. The grilled cheese is made on fresh homemade bread, and you have several options for cheese. The tomato soup is the best tomato soup in the entire galaxy. It comes with homemade croutons on top, and it's my favorite part of the meal. I think the soup is made with the tears of Zeus or something. I haven't tried many deserts, but the raspberry cheesecake bites were mediocre. There was an entire frozen raspberry inside the "truffle," which I wasn't expecting.

Yummy homemade sandwiches and delicious ice cream served by friendly folk make for a very enjoyable lunch. Don't let the location or exterior scare you away. Muzzie's is a quaint little spot tucked away at the end of a strip mall. We had the "Sarah's Feta Chicken", "Godfather" & Pork Tenderloin sandwiches. All 3 were good sized and tasty. We added an order of hand-cut fries with Greek sauce. The fries weren't anything great and the sauce tasted pretty much like mayo but it was nice to have a side with the sandwiches. Oh yeah, they have ice cream too. We are only in town for a week but will probably stop here again to try some of the other tasty treats.

This place is amazing! Until I read the reviews about not judging the exterior of this place, I had done just that and not even considered trying this place. We went and the reviews are accurate. They have an amazing selection of sandwiches and homemade frozen desserts and cookies. Their sandwiches are made on homemade bread that is scrumptious all by itself. My husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich and I was going to get the chicken salad sandwich until the waitress suggested that the honey Dijon chicken salad was awesome. Now that combination sounded a bit odd but I was up for a taste bud adventure and tried it. I'm glad I did. My taste buds were more than thrilled. It was delicious and huge! Hubby's sandwich was delicious also. The place is clean and the service very friendly. I was full but just had to try one of their brownie ice cream sandwiches for dessert. It was amazing also! Made fresh and so delicious that I had no problem devouring it also. I now have cravings for both!!! So of course I'll be back!!
